The original schooner Yacht “Dream” built by Issac Webb in 1833 was a distinctive sight in Boston Harbour USA, being very different type from most early yachts. The painting above by Robert Salmon shows “Dream” sailing off Castle Island Boston USA in December 1839.
The Modern Dream 55 schooner “Louise” was designed by Frenchman Daniel Zadig Bombigher & built in 1996 by Metur Yachts. “Louise” measures 55’ waterline 68’ (21m)overall.
